A GiveMN Initiative

2022 Campaign Institute Cohort

The application period for the 2022 Campaign Institute has closed.

Now in its sixth year, the RaiseMN Campaign Institute is back! We’re selecting up to 34 nonprofits to make up our 2022 cohort of organizations representing Greater Minnesota and the Twin Cities East Metro.

The application period for the 2022 cohort closed on May 10 at 5:00 pm CDT.

Below, we have left the information about this year’s cohort available for review from applicants and participants. When we open our next cohort, we will communicate about it via email, social media, and RaiseMN.org. Thank you for your interest!

Locations served in this cohort

This Campaign Institute cohort was offered to nonprofits located in or primarily serving the Twin Cities East Metro (Dakota, Ramsey and Washington counties) or Greater Minnesota (all additional Minnesota counties except Anoka, Carver, Hennepin, or Scott) or the Native nations that share Minnesota’s geography.

Many thanks to the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation and F.R. Bigelow Foundation for their generous support of the Campaign Institute in the communities they serve.

What’s New?

  • We’re streamlining the selection process. Previously, we selected a group of finalist organizations to work with during an initial assessment phase, and then narrowed our final cohort to a smaller group of nonprofits. This year, all organizations selected will be a part of and access the benefits of the full Campaign Institute program.

  • Each organization in the cohort will receive a grant for participation. We believe our time together can best be spent when nonprofits invest significant time into partnering with us. In recognition of that investment, we will grant $2,500 to each organization at the end of the Campaign Institute with the partnership of the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation and F.R. Bigelow Foundation.

  • We've adjusted the application to be more user-friendly. For many small- to medium-sized nonprofits, capacity is an issue. Therefore, we've worked to simplify the application form and documentation requirements to just the key information needed to facilitate a strong selection process.
